This position offers a career opportunity to work as a Associate Director for Aon’s Regional Insurer Group.

As part of this dynamic Aon United team, you will have exposure across solution lines working with skilled advisors firm-wide who come together to deliver innovative and effective solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The Regional Insurer Group is focused on small- and medium-sized insurance companies in the U.S. and serves as a model for an Aon United client-centric sales and marketing approach across the globe. Your impact as an Associate Director!

As a communication thought partner for the Insurance Vertical global leader and a member of the Core Insurance Vertical team, in this role you will be accountable for supporting the delivery of the Insurance Industry Vertical Strategy.

Demonstrating an understanding of business needs across solution lines, strong communication and organization skills and developing strong stakeholder relationships will be key to success. You will work closely with senior leaders across all solution lines – a unique opportunity to gain exposure to many Aon thought leaders.

What the day will look like:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Insurance Vertical Lead in strategic business planning, leadership meetings, and reporting.

  • Support U.S. Region Insurance Vertical team including:

  • Assisting with Client Advisory Board planning:

  • Collaborate with the event team for meeting planning

  • Develop meeting material and communications

  • Develop surveys and summarize results for presentation

  • Managing content and access for the US Team site on the Global Insurance Vertical SharePoint site

  • Working across solution lines and collaborating with marketing and design to develop sales and marketing collateral focused on insurer needs including playbooks, success stories, case studies and sell sheets.

  • Assisting in Insurance Vertical client planning calls across US Region

  • Collaborate with Regional Leaders and marketing to advise on U.S. sales and communication collateral that can be used as templates globally (e.g., playbooks, sell sheets, surveys and Client Advisory planning).

  • Manage relevant content on Aon’s global content library

  • Manage content and access for the Global Insurance Vertical Team SharePoint site

  • Develop a general knowledge of all Aon business solutions

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Collaborating across geographies and functions and able to flexibly manage and leverage resources in a complex global matrix structure

  • Proven background in the development of custom strategic content (leveraging strategic messaging / value propositions) and strong editing skills (required). Design skills a plus.

  • Some technical knowledge of Reinsurance and insurer clients

  • Experience designing presentation deliverables, partnering with the regional teams.

  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint (required) and working understanding Excel preferred

  • Strong skills in SharePoint site management

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Ability to learn quickly and show flexibility to adapt in a growing group, working both independently and with a team mentality (required)

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in marketing or communication.

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
