Senior Mechanical Engineer
We're looking for a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at, Kinetron BV, an ASSA ABLOY company. We are an international high-tech innovative organization located in Tilburg. What you would do as our Senior Mechanical Engineer
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate both independently and within teams on one or multiple projects. Your responsibilities include mechanical (conceptual) design and project management tasks. You will report directly to the R&D Manager.
You would also
Manage projects from initial client contact to product delivery, including product (conceptual) development and design, prototyping, testing, supplier coordination, parts sourcing, production line setup, and process development
Maintain communication with team members, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to the development process, quality, efficiency, safety, and environmental initiatives
Support the commercial department
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who
Has a Bachelors and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Has a proactive, customer-oriented, capable of working both independently and in teams, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
Has proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Has extensive experience in product development and design, preferably using SolidWorks
Has f amiliarity with fine mechanical systems, generators, and electric motors is a plus
You are a talented individual with an analytical and conceptual mindset. We’re looking for evidence that you are a result-oriented, problem solver by heart who sees solutions instead of problems, whilst a clear customer focus is essential to succeed.
Excellent team working skills are vital and you should enjoy collaborating with others - being prepared to both help and ask for help when needed.
