Job opportunity at major medical device company! Our client is looking for a Conversion Operator to join their ever growing team.

Location: St. Paul, MN

Pay: $22-$32/hr, depending on experience

Shift: 1st and 2nd Shifts Available, weekend shifts as well.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of associates that may be assigned to your press to ensure that they are inspecting, catching, stacking, bagging etc. to meet the requirements of specific project you are running.

• Evaluating the team and making adjustments to what they are doing to efficiently process product on press.

• Communicate rate deficiencies to management per prescribed procedures.

• Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results.

• Accurate entries in the computer time clock system.

• Accurate documentation of inspection.

• Responsible for escalating issues to the technical lead, lead or advisor if associates assigned to your project are not performing the duties you have assigned.

• Responsible for escalating when material usage or time allotted for set up are being exceeded.

Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent

• 1 or more years Rotary Press experience and or technical training from accredited trade school.

• Able to accurately understand and interpret basic prints.

• Proficient PC skills, Microsoft office products.

• Medical manufacturing experience a plus.

• Lean manufacturing experience a plus to include 5s, S.M.E.D., continuous improvement.
