What you’ll do:

  • Ensuring compliance of transformers with applicable standards like IEC60076.

  • Managing New Product Development, utilizing PRO Launch Product Development Process.

  • Ensuring design quality by conducting design reviews and applying DFSS tools.

  • Executing VAVE projects to ensure cost competiveness, Innovation, Type Testing and Homologation for End-Markets.

  • Participating in problem solving of complex technical issues.

  • Collaborating within Eaton's ESS BU, Eaton Engineering Function including Pune, and with Transformer Businesses in US and APAC.

  • Driving Accountability and efficiency within the department and a ‘one team culture’ to deliver the required output.

  • Defining the continuous improvement in Design Processes.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, a master's degree is a big plus.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Transformer Engineering.

  • Advanced level of knowledge and skill that can be applied to positively impact the bottom-line.

  • Fluent English.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Engineering, Calculation and Manufacturing Methods, Tools and Systems.

  • Knowledge of IEC and other international standards.

  • Being highly competent in facing adversity and tough challenges head on.

  • Shows high level expertise in exceeding goals successfully.
