Title of role: HR People Partner

Background & Purpose of the Job: As our People Partner, you will be the key HR contact and the face of the HR department for the hourly employees at our Sikeston Ice Cream factory. In addition to directly supporting our employees, you are the liaison between our Line Managers and our third-party HR support, acting as the first point of contact for all employee relations and general HR inquiries.

What You’ll Do:

The People Partner will be the key HR contact and the face of the HR department for the factory employees. She/he is responsible for supporting day to day operations in all aspect of the business.

  • Coach and counsel employees, front line leaders and managers on employee relation matters, performance management and conflict resolution.

  • Conduct investigations including disciplinary action, counseling and business integrity code of conduct.

  • Drive site engagement and continuous improvements across HR policies.

  • Manage end-to-end HR solutions/rollouts and project teams from inception to completion.

  • Manage the medical accommodation process affirmative action plans to be aligned with federal and state laws.

  • Manage the new hire onboarding process to include safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operation teams.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or related field and/or 3-4 Year’s Manufacturing Employee Relations or Factory HR experience preferred.

  • Labor relations and grievance handling experience preferred.

  • Must have solid experience in HR operations inclusive of Employee Relations experience (investigations, performance management and compensation reviews).

  • Ability to analyze data to make key decisions to drive performance.

  • Demonstrate the ability to design, implement/execute, and measure the impact of organizational interventions.

  • Ability to flex schedule as needed to accomplish activities as necessary in the factory.

  • Experience navigating and using an HRIS system, such as Workday or similar.
