Technical Quality Lead

Background & Purpose of the Job
The Technical Quality Lead role works within a Multi Country Organization (MCO - a geographic grouping of Unilever operating companies) reporting to the Technical Quality Manager. Technical Quality is the Unilever manufacturing-facing segment of the North American Quality organization. The role is focused on Quality in factory operations, implementing, executing, improving, ensuring compliance to Unilever and regulatory standards, and providing technical quality support to Unilever manufacturing sites. This includes deployment of quality improvement strategies and initiatives and leadership of, or participation on focused improvement teams in the relevant category.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
University degree in technical discipline or general sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science or Microbiology degree preferred)
Minimum 3-4 years functional business experience in manufacturing, engineering or supply chain with a proven track record of connecting in multi-functional forums, project management, business process improvement and team leadership.
Availability to travel overnight approximately 25-50%.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
SAP (or similar) proficiency and Lean/6Sigma/WCM/TPM expertise, CAPA, RCA, 5 Why problem-solving demonstrated experience is a plus.
