Description

Robert Half's client is looking for a dedicated 3rd Party Risk Management Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The 3rd Party Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors and partners. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of third-party vendors, including due diligence reviews and ongoing monitoring.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to mitigate potential risks associated with third-party relationships.

  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, compliance, and other relevant departments to ensure third-party risk management policies are integrated into the overall business strategy.

  • Monitor and report on the risk exposure of third-party vendors, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to third-party risk management.

  • Facilitate and coordinate third-party audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and evidence are prepared and available.

  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on third-party risk management for internal stakeholders.

  • Manage and update the third-party risk management database, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.

  • Investigate and respond to third-party incidents and breaches, working to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.

  • Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a focus on third-party risk.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to third-party risk management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex information and identify potential risks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) are preferred.
