Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Farrowing Technician to join our team in Grover Hill.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 5:30am-2:30pm, partial shift every 3rd weekend. STARTING HOURLY RATE: $16.30 with the potential of increasing to $17.55 after 90 days PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Processing and vaccinating newborn piglets.
• Caring for ill animals per veterinary and manager guidance and maintaining records.
• Maintaining a designated feeding routine.
• Keeping up on barn maintenance and cleanliness, which includes power washing.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
