Actalent Junior Electrical Engineer in Murphy, North Carolina

Job Description:

We are seeking an associate-level Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and troubleshoot power electronics hardware. Responsibilities include:

  • Research and specify components to match design parameters

  • Manage feasibility studies and technical analysis to support new products

  • Design, build, evaluate, and test first-generation technically advanced products

  • Troubleshoot designs and prototypes to provide failure analysis and resolutions

  • Establish and write manufacturing processes for the production of hardware

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field

  • 2+ years industry-related work history (can accept lower if hold a Master’s or PhD degree)

  • Strong experience with electrical design (schematics, layout, etc.)

  • PCB design experience

  • Skills within firmware design or development working with VHDl/Digital Hardware or Electronics

  • Experience with Military (MIL) standards or equivalent automotive standards preferred
