What you will do
Working in part of Stryker's UK and Ireland's Spine division, a unique opportunity has arisen for a motivated, driven, and successful Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of 7 Sales Representatives in the North West and Midlands. At Stryker, we look for sales leaders that can motivate, guide, and oversee the success of your region, whilst fostering a strong partnership with our customers and making healthcare better through the use of our industry leading Spine products and services.
You will be responsible for the overall management of your region, developing and leading your team, and taking ownership for sales and budgets within your territory. Opportunities for maximising customer service along with acquiring new customers will be a pivotal part of your role, so a proven history of delivering exceptional results over an extended period is key. Ethics and integrity are fundamental to success here at Stryker, and you will ensure our values are demonstrated through leadership and people management.
Key Responsibilities :
Exceed and deliver against a quarterly and yearly budget whilst managing instrument utilisation, recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate forecasting vs. budget, reporting directly into the Business Unit Director
Manage, lead, and motivate a high performing sales team of seven, supporting and driving them to accelerate business within the spine segment.
Support and collaborate with enabling functional teams to ensure a smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
Build local clinical champions to drive forward both current and future technology platforms across the entire portfolio.
Use market dynamics to support business acceleration.
Take a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies utilising both implants and our Enabling Technology Platform.
Experience
Proven long term success in medical device sales and/or marketing experience
Ideally product and sales knowledge in Orthopaedics, or experience within theatre
Commercial skills in leading a profit centre
Experience using CRM's and good MS Office
Demonstrable experience leading high performing sales teams is preferred

Other Information
This role will require frequent travel to attend customer sites, along with travel to our Newbury HQ as and when required.
Your main territory covers the North West and Midlands.
