Description:

A fast growing aircraft refueling and vacuum truck manufacturer is seeking a self-directed TIG Welder to work with their assembly team.

They will be primarily TIG welding on aluminum, but they will use some MIG welding occasionally.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate Miller and Lincoln welding equipment

Operate lifting equipment

Operate standard fabrication equipment such as horizontal saw, drill press, grinders.

Operate plazma cutter, cutting torch, and hand saws

Cut, fit up and weld Aluminum and Stainless Steel piping using GTAW process

Perform quality checks on finished assemblies

Assemble finished piping onto refueling vehicles

Fabricate minor brackets as needed

Must adhere to all company safety and operation policies

Skills & Qualifications:

Must have 4+ years of TIG welding experience.

Must have 2+ years of experience welding aluminum pipe

Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic blueprints and schematic drawings

Must be able to plan and document all work performed

Must OWN basic tools to perform job responsibilities

Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds

High school diploma or GED

Shift and Pay:

1st shift - 6:00am to 2:30pm

$24 to $28/hr

Work environment:

Not climate controlled.

Experience Level:

Intermediate level
