 Special requirements: Independently set up and operate moderately complex various manufacturing equipment that requires specialized skill or expertise.

 Ability to read and interpret blue prints

 Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in work cell within 60 days of hire; Function as lead if multiple person requirement

 Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period end and ability to train other employees

 Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures

 Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements

 Strong verbal and written communication

 Forklift certification capable

 Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.

 Ability to train team members

 Ability to lead Lean events and high performance teams as required; ability to train team on Lean methodology

 Participate in 5S activities per Manager request

 Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem solving skills

 Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment.

 Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.

 Other assignments as assigned by Management.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

 Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien

 Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

 Vision: 20/25 vsiosn corrected or uncorrected

 Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment

 Communication: For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English

 Mechanical Aptitude: High

 Strong Math skills – three digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF).

 Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
