Principal Responsibilities

To perform all duties of an Expeditor for the company under the direction of Planner Production Control Specialist.

Specific work Duties/Essential Functions:

Performs in accordance with well established guidelines, necessary functions to assure scheduled completion of materials or parts in an assigned area or to estimate shortages in an assigned department.

• Daily inventories of work centers

• Cycle count support as needed

• Acts in a liaison capacity between departments.

• To assist in estimation of bottlenecks or heavy work load in any particular cost center.

• Keeps well informed on where assigned parts are at all times, and reports to Planner Production Control Specialist.

• Interprets and implements schedules as established by Planner Production Control Specialist.

• May on occasion be assigned temporarily to a specific program or customer account for purposes of “Special Handling”.

• Shipping/Receiving Support as needed

• Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned
