Currently hiring for a set up mechanic for a local manufacturer located in Hauppauge NY. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots machines as needed during the production run as a priority to minimize downtime

• Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform PMs on conveyor systems

• Moving from one area to another area as needed to set-up and breakdown equipment

• Performs all adjustments and changeover of equipment based on the batch

• Must properly care for and maintain equipment during use and storage of the equipment

• Perform Lock out Tag out procedures

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
