Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Supervisor in Bothell, Washington

This opportunity is for a Multi-Function Manufacturing Supervisor, a vital leader within the Bothell Production Operations team reporting directly to the Site Senior Manager. The selected individual will directly supervise the build of advanced laser/optics assemblies to ensure compliance with company quality standards, applicable government regulations, and design requirements. Duties include ensuring the safety of employees; providing staff with the appropriate training/workforce development opportunities; management of staff workloads and hiring; and overseeing day-to-day assembly operations to support the successful attainment of all program cost, schedule and technical objectives though active management of program priorities, work schedules, tools & equipment, and issue resolution.

Candidates must be comfortable within a rapid development environment; able to execute within short timelines and a given budget. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment.

The Locale: Bothell is a city located in the state of Washington in the Pacific Northwest. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. Bothell is home to Cascadia Community College and the University of Washington, Bothell.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong leadership & interpersonal skills

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics

• Ability to understand procedures, work instructions, and specifications/industry standards and apply this knowledge to day-to-day activities

• Experience working in a production operations environment

• Ability to secure and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001 and/or AS9100

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with material resource planning systems and manufacturing execution systems such as SAP and/or Solumina

• Experience with production flow implementation & optimization

• Experience reviewing designs for manufacturability (DFM) and supporting tooling/fixture design reviews

• Experience with new product introduction to manufacturing, pilot lines, and/or transitioning prototypes to production

• Demonstrated experience implementing employee safety improvements

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $71,000 - $136,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
