A job opening is currently available for the position of Project Lead Engineering. The role entails overseeing extension projects as well as establishing a new warehouse location and offices in Belux.

Your Role

As the Project Lead Engineering, you will play a critical role in leading and executing extension projects while also overseeing the setup of a new warehouse location and offices in Belux. You will work closely with the National Project Manager to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards of quality.

Your Responsibilities

• creating facility products and services, supervising the implementation of logistics and office buildings, and planning,

• executing, and controlling building measures;

• having technical knowledge of electricity/electronics, ventilation techniques, industrial engineering, and more;

• managing suppliers, monitoring budgets, and estimating resources;

• establishing clear leadership, implementing effective staff organization, and representing the facility organization in external events;

• creating a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism and recommending changes to leverage our efficiency;

• the person in this role will have decision-making authority, such as making the final supplier selection and generating a contract;

• they are also expected to influence the business/stakeholders on facility solutions to create a transparent Facility Strategy.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Master in facility management /civil engineering/construction / environmental engineering;

• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices;

• Strong technical background;

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business and obtain buy-in;

• Good knowledge of (Project) Management tools;

• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles;

• Strong affinity with required customer quality standards;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Dutch/German, knowledge of a 3rd language is an advantage;

• Ability to demonstrate an analytical, logical, and numerate approach, to understand user requirements, analyze and process (big) data, and perform risk analysis within the decision-making process.
